As a design engineer, my goal is to discover a solution that's worth building, one that solves the problem sufficiently better than the alternatives. I am currently Senior UX Designer at Housemark, and design engineering is where a lot of that time actually goes: product problems taken through design into production UI — the system, the accessibility, the code the next developer inherits.*
