Why is your website useless?
A site without a purpose is a potted plant. Pretty, maybe. Not a tool.

There is a good chance your website is failing you — yes, really. Some excellent websites do exist. Many more look responsive, have the right pages, and still do almost nothing.
Without a clear purpose, a website is a pretty picture. Or a potted plant.
The hard truth
A website without a specific goal is useless. If you have not defined what it is for, and lined that up with the business, it is already falling short.
Websites are not magic. They do not generate leads because they exist. They exist because someone said you needed one — which is true — and then nobody decided what “need” meant.
Is it online because everyone has one? Or do you have a measurable job for it?
This is where owners, designers, and developers get stuck. The site becomes a dump for content, services, and products. A glorified virtual business card. For a website to be useful you have to say what it is for, then design and build to that.
What to do
- Assess what the current site actually does — not what you hope it does.
- Set specific objectives.
- Design with intent, so every page earns its keep.
Transform the site into a tool, or admit it is decoration and stop expecting sales from it.
