- Year
- 2026
- What I owned
- Design and build of onboarding, storefront, quote widget, owner dashboard, billing, and the trust-vouch layer.
- What I shipped
- A multi-tenant SaaS at readyweb.trade. Anonymous onboarding, a branded storefront, an instant-quote widget, Clerk claiming, and Stripe for the paid tier.

Overview
The website, not a widget that sits on someone else's. An anonymous wizard provisions a trade business, generates a branded storefront and an instant-quote widget, then the owner claims the site.
The problem
Plenty of UK trade businesses have no website at all, or an abandoned one. Quote Direct assumes they already have a site to put a funnel on. They needed the storefront as well as the quote.
The process
The pitch is speed: one template, publish in minutes, not a generic website builder. Quote Direct serves a firm that already has a site. Readyweb is for the firm that does not.
Custom domains were investigated and shelved because the registrar options did not cover the UK TLDs this audience actually uses. Path and subdomain routing is what is live today.
Measuring success
The measure is a storefront published by a trade business I do not know. Product analytics are not on yet, so that number is not claimed.
Outcomes
Onboarding, preview before claim, published storefronts, a quote widget, an owner dashboard, logo upload, and Stripe for upgrading. Supplier ordering is still mocked.
